Dumb question but I've never been to one and just saw there's one in Meadville PA next weekend - right by me. I don't want to take the Metzendorf. Can the public go walk around and look or are they membership things? Here's the ad: meadvillekoa.com/car-show-and-vintage-rv-rally/

We went to a rally last year without taking our vintage trailer. It just means that you don't have an open house. We looked at lots of trailers, joined in the pot luck and talked to other restorers. Our vintage trailer will not be ready this year, so we will go again this year without it. Maybe next year we will be ready for the full experience. We needed to register in advance last year. probably true for most rallys if you want to join in the pot luck and games.

Ah! I wish this was just a little closer to NJ. I'd really like to go but Vintage RV's are only being shown for 2 hours after the car show. I really don't want to tow my trailer 6 hours one way just to show it for 2 hours total.

Well, at a rally, all the trailers gather into a tight group, listen to rousing and inspirational speeches, carry signs touting the importance of saving vintage, do some chants, then parade around in a circle for a while, hoping to draw media attention...
