So as some may know, I'm looking to build a modern ummm clone of a canned ham I've been keeping my eye open for possible frame and appliance donors to start with and think I may have found one.
Looks like it's 70's vintage, about the right length (18') and is in poor shape. Spotted it in a field last weekend and couldn't tell if it was a camper or possibly a mobile office type trailer. Either way it will be cheap (less than $100 im sure) just hope the owners have or can get the title. Its also only a couple miles away so the poor condition shouldn't make it un towable. The best part, it belongs to some family friends who actually didn't remeber having it!
Waiting for better weather to take a closer look...

It might be worth repacking the bearings before towing it even a short distance. Or at least popping the caps and shoving grease inside. Keep us posted.

I was more concerned with it collapsing on the way home. Worst case I have a flatbed trailer I can load it onto.

We shall see. Course work has me traveling now, spent the week in Madison WI last week. A week in Burlington IA last month. Burning into my home time to get things done but do get an extra half day vacation time for each day I'm out of town.. if there's no title, it's not likely worth getting.
