Welcome!
The fan goes in exactly like a passive vent but you need it wired for 12 volt. It works wonders at keeping the air moving but it can be loud. I think it’s great.

I don't have a 12 v system. Who should I talk to my local rv dealer?

I'm seeing at least one 12 volt light above the rear bunk. Do some research...

There are wires in the cabinet I'm pretty sure it just hooks to a battery

I rewired our 57 Shasta with a complete 12 volt system.
The wires in the cabinet are connected to an incoming set of wires from the fuse block in the dinette. I ran the wires across the lower kitchen cabinet and made a chase to go into the upper cabinet to a J box. That provides power to the light over the bunk. From there, I ran them across the window area into the next cabinet/J box. Cut a small hole in the cabinet ceiling and run your wires for the Fan.
I've done several trailers this way. It's fairly easy, if tedious. If you PM me, I can share photos via email.
