Gary, Trailertrasher will get back to you but it takes time. He may be off hunting and gathering vintage parts...

I am restoring a camper I am ready to build the kitchen the refrigerator vent hole is going to become a window. Yesterday I boarded over the vent hole once the kitchen is build I am not going back and remove the kitchen so I can cut the hole and frame the wall for a window. Need a window now, wife still wants the window. Not sure I want to delay another days work screwing with the extra window. I found a guy in a different State that has a 15x22 window he was eager to get rid of it but now he acts like he is not wanting to get rid of it. I have plenty of things to work on for another 2 days before I decide if I want to leave the plywood wall covering up the window hole.

Their prices do not seem unreasonable.

I have plenty of things to work on for another 2 days before I decide if I want to leave the plywood wall covering up the window hole. This hobby is not ready made. One of the things I tell newbies is "Welcome to the biggest scavenger hunt of your life." You can't find everything ready made in mass quantities. You will also find that some of the vendors that we are very lucky to have in this hobby are retired and not making their entire living on used parts. I know Chris (trailertrasher) pretty well. I've been dealing with him for about 7 years now. He's not the most timely person I have dealt with although I have found out that over time, after our relationship grew a bit, he has been a bit more timely with my requests. He get's back to me within a week now. If you want everything to happen on your timeline you are in the wrong hobby. You and ten thousand other people are looking for that window. Your competition for parts will depend highly on your search skills. We don't have all the answers here. With many things there is no immediate answer. I have been collecting and saving parts for a very long time now and I could walk out to my storage container and pick out a nice window that would fix your exact needs right now. But I'm not in the business of selling parts. I save them for myself. Once in a great while I help a person out with something that I am fairly sure I will never need. Then later on I usually regret it. In this hobby you are forced to play the hand dealt to you when you bought your trailer. After that it's all up to you on how you play your hand. So I say to you,,,, Welcome to the biggest scavenger hunt in your life.

Neighbor across the street came over today to see what I am working on. Turns out he has several vintage camper windows in a storage building. He gave me all the windows, they all work and all have good glass but nothing I can use. I have a 15x30 window but no 15x22 window.

trailertrasher When you say "open edge", does that mean that there is no gasket on the lower glass for each pane? I keep hearing about these gaskets, but my windows had none and look very much like that one.

The difference between "panel" louvers and open edge glass louvers.

Wasn't sure how well it would show in the pic that it was a traditional Jalousie as apposed to what I call an awning window, but to some also a Jalousie. This 7' style does have seals between the glass panes though unlike the 4". Its an aluminum rail with a blade type seal on it. Vintage Trailer Shop,as well as Vintage Trailer Supply, both sell a seal that can be used on the 4"

I wouldn't use chcamper either, he doesn't supply glass, screens, butyl tape or screws.
