im wondering what kind of paint would be good for the roof I plan on using a roller or brush I was thinking oil base but im not sure thanks cr |

What are you using to paint the lower part of the camper?
I've used oil enamel with good results. Is it clean aluminum or are you painting over a base coat? Bare aluminum needs a primer for non-ferrous metals. Ace makes a good one and so does (I believe) Rustoleum.

I use Rutoleum gloss white oil enamel and roll it on after roof repairs. It has a nice gloss and seems to be very lasting.

I used rustoleum primer, then rustoleum boat paint, oil base white enamel on mine. Applied it with a roller, came out good.
