OK.... Tell me what's wrong with this picture... I've never seen one of these. It's supposed to be a 68 Lakeland and possibly built in Indiana. But something is wrong with this picture. Anyone know anything about these trailers?

Same thing is wrong with this one too! This one has been for sale on and off for almost a year now here in Lawrenceburg, IN. It was built somewhere up next to Elkhart, IN. Forgot what town. I've got his CL ad printed out somewhere around but have to find it. It's not on CL right now. I think I have it on the exterior paint ideas thread also. Don't know why but I thought they had it listed as a 65 Winnie. I'm sure my oldtimers is probably kicking in though.

More aerodynamic that way. And you can sit your cool vintage retro chairs under the overhang when it rains. I give it two thumbs up.

That's what happens when the new guy fills in for the factory foreman. On a Monday morning or Friday at 3:00!! Truth is you're probably right!! If you rotated the frame 180, the tongue would stick out (necessary because of the overhang) possibly more than an inexperienced assembler would think necessary. I wonder how many of these were built? I've seen things like that happen as a prank too! They might have figured it was funny and left some that way. It's probably a very interesting story.
Soup - what's with the residential door? I wonder if you can drive around like that.

I think they were going for the iconic image of the Spitfire,,sort of a tribute that went horribly wrong. Maybe a Spit ham. HRP

Wow, What's wrong? :PI do believe that is the only British Spitfire I have ever seen painted up like a P40 War Hawk. Famous by Chennault’s Flying Tiger Mercenaries in service for the Chinese before WWII. One of my favorite as a kid. Cool picture.. Hot Rod..
