If you actually "dip" your rig, no more worries about lightening strikes in the camp ground? What? Lightning strikes? You mean we could get fried in our little tin cans? Are they more susceptible than modern trailers? I agree with Soup that you are not more susceptible. But even if you are struck...camper struck, I would imagine it would be like my two experiences of being at swimming meets (I was an AAU coach a couple of lifetimes ago) and had kids in my car waiting out severe thunderstorms when lightning struck the car. It is scary and once made our hair tingle a bit, but the "electricity" went to ground through the tires. I am assuming the tires on a camper would do the same thing.
