I am spending a couple of weeks in the Canadian Rockies camping with our big trailer which is being used for road trips until my vintage trailer is finished. So beautiful here and we have done many 10 mile hikes up into remote parts of the mountains. Here are a couple of stupid things we have seen... - A family on the highway trying to pat the wild rams in the first photo. -A family driving a rental RV using their water hose to rinse out the black sewer hose after it was drained. (They shoved it about two feet up into the dirty sewer hose), then went to the side of the trailer and immediately used the same hose to fill the fresh water tank! Aaahhh! - Many people dropping $$$$ cameras into the water as they tried to walk across a pile of floating logs to get a good photo of a lake. Ignoring the five people before them who just fell in! - A guy spray painting his and his girlfriends names into trees in a national park, in red spray paint so everyone will know they are in love. - Meeting up with families about 5 miles into a ten mile hike up a mountain where the ladies are wearing high heels and no one has any water, rain gear, or food. -International tourists asking when the Bears will be out for feeding time so that they can feed them! There have been four separate bear attacks in the park since we got here. It makes it sound dangerous but the truth is that the most unpredictable and dangerous creatures in the park are the humans! I hope you are all having a great summer!

Beautiful pictures.
We have run into people just as ignorant and disrespectful, while camping. It's a shame.

When my son and I were traveling cross country, we saw many stupid things, too. A lot of people were doing stupid things to get photos and selfies. We joked about making a Facebook page of stupid tourist photos.

It's unfortunate that it's hard to find places to enjoy anymore, seems stupidity and selfishness abound in our culture.
