Ok this might be a dumb question but..... well, since I don't know the answer I am going to ask all the wonderfully knowledgeable and experienced VTT members. My electrical should be finished first of the week and I need to get a shore cord (30amp) and and adapter to bring it down to 15amp to plug into the house while we are working. Suggestions on brand, where to by, ones to stay away from, etc.. Here is my 30amp inlet

Make sure that it is an RV rated power cord. It will be a heavy enough wire to safely care the power load. Any RV store will have what you need.
I personally like to use Furrion Power Smart cords. Marinco is another great brand of power cord. You can easily find an adapter from 15A Male to 30A female. I luck up on them at campgrounds, from the previous camper who forgot to remove it from the power pole.
I also prefer to get a 30' cord. So far, have never need to get an extension cord.
