I have recently been contacted by an electrician who questions our knowledge of 110/120 electrical. If something doesn't seem absolutely correct, then the thread or post will be deleted. This will protect all of us when chatting about 110 electrical.
1. If you do not know or understand what you are doing, hire an expert.
2. Information here is to help those who need advice as to location and protection of wiring. We do not claim to be electricians and can not tell you how to "wire" your trailer.
3. Trailer wiring: The neutral and ground bars are always isolated. Run a ground wire from the ground bar to the trailer frame.
4. Always use correct gauge wire for the amperage.
15 amp = 14/2 wire 20 amp = 12/2 wire 30 amp = 10/2 wire
STAY SAFE!
