Ok so I am ready to build and install a new wire harness for Tallulah Belle.. the one that was in place is a mess of frayed and broken wires and not at all functional. I have my new 7 way connector, and am connecting the standard taillights, Trail lite license plate light and red/amber side markers. The marker lights are new, and only have one wire, and the taillights and plate light have two. Will the lights be grounded through their attachment to the aluminum skin? Do I need to run ground wires to each light?

the running lights usually just have one wire the ground is through the skin like you stated, but I ran an actual ground wire to the frame just to make sure.
that way if over time the screw rust or aluminum oxidixes I still have a good ground, the screw through the skin can have issues, weird things happen to metal and aluminum when you connect the two, theirs a chemical reaction over time.

What UE said... I run a seperate ground to each of the lamps as well. I screw it to the inside of the lamp backing plate which also screws into the skin.

Also, if you buy LED lights, they like that extra ground wire...
