Can anyone post pics /lend advice to where they put their heating unit and what kind used? I have a 62 Shasta 16sc and think it may go in the closet by the front door. What brands are efficient? I like to camp all year, and coastal weather can get fairly cold at night and at times windy. I'm thinking heater would be a must.

I agree, Olympian Catalytic Heaters are wonderful! Very efficient and safe. If you plan on mounting it on the closet by the door, the Wave 3 is the probably biggest you can hang there, depending on the space between the closet and other cabinetry/dinette. The Wave 6 puts out a lot of heat. The 6 might be better for a 16 SC if you have a place to put it.

I will check both out. I would love to get the 6, but not so sure where I would put it. I will check out the dimensions and the price. Vikx, the 3 looks great where it is....small, simple...Thanks for the picture example. I thought for some reason some were flush with the cabinet, but maybe not. I just want a safe and efficient one, and this looks to be just that!

Okay I just checked out the 3 and the 6. I'd like to get the 6. The difference is that is is 6 inches highter and 2 inches wider. That looks to be okay in terms of space. The 6 has a recess kit. I wonder if anyone has recessed theirs and what it looks like. I don't want to over complicate anything. But if it frees up space then that is a bonus. I cannot think of anywhere still to put it, other than on the closet door or the side door to the closet, to the right as you walk in (where Vikx has it mounted)...
It will be toasty roasty!

The kit is a simple metal shield and indents the 6 about 2 inches. Should work fine in the closet but measure the distance and go by the directions. The air required is a little more than the 3; our trailers are rarely air tight. LOL.
Take pictures!

I will likely do the 6 and I think it should fit nicely in that same space. I will post pics for sure. YOUR trailers are not air tight? lol....
