I seem to have a Fisher regulator system for my double tanks. Very Vintage I think. The problem , the lines are permanently attached to this regulator, they are some sort of metal. Steel, aluminum or What? These lines connect to the tanks... one line has a very small crack so I never hookup a tank there. The other line is fine. These lines are eventually going to break off with attaching and detaching so much. The regulators propane line is connected to a black rubber hose line that then connects/runs to the stove/oven. What's the best way to replace this and to bring it up to code?
There doesn't seem to be an entire unit to purchase and looks like I have to purchase everything seperately. A auto dual switch regulator the new hoses etc,
so glad to have found this site, It's great and have learned many vintage things.

Noni, please post some photos of your regulator. I'm thinking it can be repaired, the lines are almost always removable.

And no matter what, you will want a new auto-switch-over regulator. Especially if you have a fridge.
