Well poop! I hate to do this to everyone but I'm gonna need help. I'm restricted from any heavy lifting. Was diagnosed with a hernia today. Not even supposed to pick up my own kids. Ugh! Getting old sucks! I feel a mid life crisis coming. Maybe a Spartan will help NO!! That's not good . We will be there (hopefully) by noon on Thursday and you can borrow our old backs for whatever we can help with. I'm assuming you can still go? Just loading up to go takes a toll on a body so not sure if you can do that? Your health comes first so behave yourself! Not everyone is checking this board, maybe you can email everyone and let us know what you need. Thank you. Luckily we are almost all packed, except my clothes and the refrigerated foods. I'm still going, just might be moving slow. I'll get the wife to load the cooler after we put it in the camper. I have to try to get to a doctor today or tomorrow morning to find out just how bad it is. We are bringing a wagon for the kids to play with so it will haul things instead of carrying them.

Uh oh, you'll be Spartan spotting along the way. I was planning on leaving tomorrow and spending the night along the way but our weather is not looking good. We have flood warnings through tomorrow night with an expected 3-4 inches. Pretty sure my vehicle will cross the creek but not sure about my TD so I may have to wait until Thurs. morning to leave. 8 hr trip for me and I'm not a morning person. I'll get there eventually.

No leaving early for me today! It is literally flooding here. I hope it stops raining soon or I may not make it until Friday! I can't believe this. It happens every time I have a trip planned. At least it is not snow!

Creeks are over the the bridges and roads here. I still have one way out if it doesn't rise too much over night. Once it stops raining, it usually goes down quickly. Flood warnings expire at noon FRIDAY!

Flood warnings?!? That's crazy. Doug and I finally made it, are sitting by the fire and enjoying a beverage. What more can a girl ask for? Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!

True, Bill. And we haven't had any tornadoes here for which I am very grateful. Minor flooding here, they are saying. Seems as though the rain has finally stopped but wxman just said more through the night and a little more tomorrow. We have one lane bridges over the creeks that flood and unpaved roads that turn into gully washers.

John and Katie were so excited to be camping they were literally bouncing off the walls (and the beds) by 6:30 this morning. We have some pretty dark clouds up here, but I am going to do my best "no rain" dance and hopefully it will blow over.
