Riverbend Rally 2014 Hiawassee, GA

Can hardly wait! We need some warm weather. Our todo list for this weekend is to post a schedule. If you guys and gals have any suggestions let us know.

I'm going to call the campground and verify our list with theirs and update the site list.

Okay folks, here is the preliminary schedule for your comments! Please let us know what you think or if you have a new idea for consideration.

Thursday Afternoon

Anytime Arrival

Check in with the campground and wagon master (Doug & Marcy at site F1)

5:30-6:00(tbd by campground)
Fish Fry @ the pavilion - bring your own drinks and a side to share.
We will move to the big pavilion if needed for space. (We have both reserved)

8:00pm- NOT 3:00AM!
Happy hour(s) ........
Campsite F1
BYOB drinks, chair, and snacks. We will have a few extra chairs if needed just let us know. Bring a flashlight to help the folks pull in that arrive after dark.


Friday

(Personally I think Friday's schedule is a little too busy but if we move something to Saturday we loose the free time for adventuring or relaxing.) If you guys want we can move Drinks &Four Letter Words to Thursday night during happy hour and move Vintage Trailer Bingo to after dinner..... Thoughts?

Campground facilities info:

Country Store Hours:
M-S: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
They offer; Hand-Dipped Mayfield Ice Cream, Candies, Camping Supplies, Souvenirs, Miscellaneous Sundries, Ice, and firewood.

Bathhouse:
Clean, modern bathhouse with private showers with dressing room. The bathhouse is heated during cool weather. Each sink is equipped with power outlets for shaving, hair dryers etc.

A Note about Meals:

All meals and drinks are bring your own or share except the fish fry, please bring a side dish to the fish fry, a dish for the pot luck, and the breakfasts. A few of the same dish is fine, as we will have around 50 people attending. Please bring you own fine china and silverware. We will try to have extras just in case.
I'm working on a sponsor for hotdogs for lunch and will let y'all know the outcome.

We will bring it! Gotta fix a flat tire on it between now and then. Still three sites remaining?

I just updated our site list. B23 & B24 are now available and F2 is also. B23 & 24 are nice sites on the river for those of us with no kids or older kids. Anyone is welcome to call the campground and move if they want to, just lets know so I can update the list again.

Yes Kim, those were their sites. I'm kinda sad they won't make it. I hope it didn't have anything to do with the preliminary schedule because we are thinking it needs less going on. I really want to get to know everyone this year. Last year between getting sick and having a sick baby I didn't get around to socialize as much as I wanted.
