Hello. We just reserved site B1 Keel's - Andy & Michelle, Noah (son) in a '67 Scotty. Look forward to meeting you guys. We live in Alpharetta... I'm guessing by your name you may be right around the corner from us. Yeah, more kids! We are excited that we have more kids coming than 2013. We are all about family friendly. We will have to plan some games for them! Any volunteers? Our two will be 3 and 1.5. We should have between 7 and 11 kiddos!

Here is the lateest for sites that I know of... Marcy and I are working on the details and will hopefully have a preliminary schedule up in the next few weeks. The Glamping Forum has agreed to officailly sponsor Vintage Trailer Bingo! I think the cornhole tournament was a hit, but it took a long time to work thru the bracket so I'm hoping we can get 4 sets this time instead of 2. It looks like we have more kids coming this time so I would like to come up with some kid games. Maybe some kind of races, team scavenger hunt, or something, any suggestions? I'm reaching out to our sponsors from last year to see if we can get more goodies!!! I'll keep you posted! We need volunteers! Ken graciously volunteered to help with a logo design. I think Robin and Bill will be in charge of Bingo. Anyone want to help with kids events, Cornhole Tournament, awards commitee? B1-(mariettamodern)Andy, Michelle, & Noah, 3 attending, 1967 Scotty B2-(Petewhit)Pete & Cindy Whitley and girls, 4 attending, B3-(flyinham)Jeff & Kiersten Scheule and kids, 1962 Airflyte B4-(63airflyte) Kim B5-(pathfinder) Scott B6- B23-(Nana Bee) Nancy Hanners arriving Thursday, 1972 Frolic B24-(Sketter) Rebecca Wallace, arriving Thursday, Shasta Compact? Looks like bookings have slowed down a little.... We better get our schedule posted soon!
I've been solicting sponsors for some gimmes again and its looking good so far! Please remember to spread the word about our sponsors. Its this word of mouth advertising that encourages their donations. Some of them are very small businesses and can use every bit of advertising they can.
I'm waiting on some confirmations before I tell you who they all are.....

Its that time again! We are planning for the second annual Riverbend Rally for 2014! If you are intersted in volunteering let me know. We had some amazing help last May and should probably get a few more helpers this time. I have been discussing dates with the campground, and want your input! May 1st-4th we can get any sites we want! I'm thinking the loop that was down in the B section. It had plenty of shade and sites on and off the river. There is a playground and a pavillion in that loop. The only downside is the restrooms are further away. May 15th-18th, will limit us to the area we were in for 2013. I would get A1-8 and C1-17 if that is when we choose. They are ready to book 20 sites for us whenever we decided. If you guys and gals would rather do it earlier or later throw some dates out and we can see whats available. I'm concerned June would be too hot but for those that have kids in school it may be easier. Sorry we are not available for the Memorial Day weekend May26, and Mother's Day is May 11th. We really enjoyed Riverbend Campground and the friendly staff, but we are also open to trying another Campground if the group wants to. I would plan a short weekend trip in advance to check it out if thats what the group is interested in. I know we have some TCT members and they have other rallies that may conflict so I'm trying to coordinate with the Southern TCT group for a good turnout. RIght now they have a Tybee island Rally scheduled for the weekend of April 24th. We want to go to that but won't know if we can. Obviously if we choose May 1st it would be difficult to go to both. Hey Guys, I just joined this forum. My wife and I would like to attend this rally...are there any particular rules or anything? Do you have to own a particular kind of trailer or join a club or something in order to attend/participate? Let me know. Thanks, G & Ruthie

Thanks, G & Ruthie No club to join, no particular kind of trailer, no rules except having fun! Just call the campground and book a site then post your info here.

Thanks to both of you for the reply. I'll double check the dates for conflicts and get something booked.
Doug, the next time you've got that '65 Riv out for a Sunday drive...drive up to the Cumming area and visit me. I've had (and still have) several Buicks mostly Gran Sports. A '65 Riviera has been on my short list for several years...hopefully, I'll have one someday. I'm currently finishing up a '67 Buick Gran Sport, also have a '87 Turbo T Regal (a silver Grand National) and a '62 Buick 2 door LeSabre with an '87 Grand national drivetrain. I also tow with a Buick Roadmaster wagon with Air Ride suspension and polished American's. I've never even ridden in a '65 Riv and would love to go for a spin in it one day.
Thanks, G

I'd say you have a sickness, but the good news is the Buick treatment seems to be working! I'll see what I can do. That's not far at all. We need to talk! Sending you a private message.

Hi, if there's a site left, my son, and I (maybe hubby, never know about his work) would possibly like to join you. Not certain the Shasta will be finished but we could take the teardrop if it's not. Just wondering if any of the kids are tweens or young teens? My son is 12 and will be almost 13 by then.

I'm not sure about all the ages but there are two girls that are almost teens. I will have to call and check with the campground but I think we have 15 sites booked.

Thanks, I'll call and see what's still available. If it works out for us, I'd be glad to do an activity with the kids, all ages.
