Late last fall as I was tucking my trailer in for a long winters nap the electrical worked fine. Today as I was preparing to do a little spring work on her, I plugged in the same electrical cord I used last fall but the gcf outlet keeps tripping. I tried numerous attempts and one time the kitchen fan was actually running. I unplugged it and tried the lights but no luck. Gcf was tripped again. What's happening? How can I fix this?

Corroded ground seems most likely

Somewhere, you have a ground fault. The leakage is slight enough to trip the GFCI, but not high enough to overload the circuit breaker. This is a potentially dangerous situation that needs to be diagnosed. One quick diagnostic is to unplug the power supply and put an ohmmeter to the ground wire and neutral/ white wire and also ground to hot. You should have an infinite reading/no continuity.
