I would like to attend a vintage trailer rally but it looks like they are by invitation or sold out to previous years attendees. Would anyone be interested in a VTT Pacific Coast Rally? I would be willing to help organize it. Something like (subject to change):

1st annual VTT PC Canned Ham Carnival

Theme: "Sleep with the one you brung"
Date: Proposed - Friday, Saturday, Sunday in September
Location: Proposed - Carmel, California Area - depending on availability of campground
Events:

    Friday Evening - Meet and Greet
  Saturday Morning - Lecture: How to spot trailer rot and/or rotten flippers
    Saturday Lunch - Contest: Most creative use of SPAM (all entries will be eaten)
    Saturday Evening - Video Screening of Mobiltec's latest video (hosted by Lola)
  Sunday Morning - Group Discussion: The Joy of Glamping

Eligibility - Any VTT member owned vintage trailer, in any condition (including rolling frames)

Any interest? If so we need to get this scheduled right away.

I'm going to the August rally in GA and had to book way in advance. They fill up quickly.

I'm down the coast but probably wouldn't be ready to attend such an event until next year. Hard to camp in a "rolling frame".

I love this idea. I'm a ways down the coast too but that's why we have autos and trailers. I could get my friends at Tinker Tin Trailers to show up with a few of theirs as well! They have 30 trailers now I think. I could advertise the rally on my website so if you get serious about this let me know and I will post it.
