I am trying to restore a 1969 Shasta Starflyte. The trailer is in pretty bad shape and all the wood in the trailer needs to be replaced. I am trying to do this slowly and methodically so I don't lose the shape and dimensions of the trailer and can ensure the skin will fit back on. However, when slowly removing the skin in the front today I found that nothing was holding the front of the trailer on except the skin. As I pulled the skin the entire front fell off. My plan was to be able to use the wood i removed as a template and copy it when rebuilding the trailer. However, i now know that someone tried to rebuild this in the past and did it wrong. Because of this and the fact that most of the wood is rotted and gone I don't really have a good template. I have watched a lot of videos online, many by mobiltech, in my studying for my first trailer restore. However, all of the trailer restores i have seen videos of are the true canned ham look and the fronts are rounded. My trailer isn't quite like that and has more of straight zig zag front profile. Below is an image of the front of my trailer and I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of what the framing should look like in this style trailer, or maybe a link to some videos on this style being taken apart. Thanks for any help you can offer.

everyone thanks so much for the replys. I appreciate all the information and the images. This will be a huge help as I try to reassemble the front portion.
I got the left side skin off today and I was pleasantly surprised that all the wood was there. It was rotted and needs to be replaced but almost all was there so i have a good template.
I also found a guy on youtube who rebuilt a shasta and it has a similar shape to mine so i could see the framework there as well. It was a guy called Jennies Garage if anyone wants to take a look. Videos 6 and 7 are where he takes the front and back apart.
Thanks again everyone.
