As some of you know, I decided to design my own retro curtain fabric for my trailer, as I wanted a specific look and I didn't want old panels that were falling apart. So I whipped up a few designs last year and uploaded them to spoonflower which is a site where you can design your own fabrics and wallpaper. Strangely random people started buying my fabrics a few yards at a time and so I thought "hey this is fun, maybe I'll sell enough to pay for my own order when the time comes."
Well this week I had an even bigger surprise. I had designed a vintage look wallpaper for my bathroom to go with my plastic coral 1950's tiles that I have bought, and I was contacted by a company that wants to make my design a part of their spring line.
So it's a good lesson, that when you follow your heart and your passion... it leads to good things.
Here is the wallpaper design that I made, which they want for their spring line.

Cow charge they just need a good quality jpeg. I do my designs on photoshop and create Tiff files, but I usually convert them to jpeg for spoon flower. I have a standing offer for any of the regulars on this site that I will help them do a design for their trailer at no charge if they want that. Here is a link to my spoon flower store where my designs are featured and for sale. You can see what I am up to.
