Also. Am I assuming incorrectly that the kitchen sink and the bathroom are two different pumps? It it one pump to rule them all?

Ok . We'll check those things. Nothing in the bathroom works but the electric socket. No pump, no lights. Kitchen pump not working either. Everything else is working. (Except the water heater was so corroded that we yanked it, so we don't know about that.) Thanks for all the tips. We're out now so can't check any of them yet. Ginger It may be as simple as the turning of a gate valve or ball valve to switch it over. They all have that you know. The shore water has to be separate from the on board water so there is always a valve to switch it from one to the other.

Lol 😀 I would love it to be something awesomely simple like that. I have NO FEAR of looking dumb.
I do it with flair!

Here is what I would do:
1. Check all of your 12 volt fuses at the converter.
2. Check the breakers in the 110 box. Be sure that none have partially tripped. One may need to be reset. (for the rest of the bathroom, NOT the pump)
3. A normal 12 volt system of this era includes one 12 volt pump connected to the fresh water tank. There are several things that will make a pump not work: a. Lack of suction. Culprits can include the "filter", winterizing bypass in the wrong valve position and a open/cracked water line. If it's running and no water, check these. b. Pump is shot. Several things can cause a dead pump, including the limit switch, bad motor or corroded wiring. If it doesn't turn "on", this would be the case. c. Some 12 volt pumps are air pumps; they pressurize a large cylindrical tank. (aluminum or steel) This is a compression system. d. Blown fuses and cut or compromised wiring can cause problems as well.
Do the homework and check the above and get back to us...

Thanks so much everyone. I have a lot to work with now. Fortunately, the guy sitting next to me at the poker table tonight was Art, the mobile RV guy. He is super nice and overheard me telling my husband all the reports back from you guys and he also offered to help. I happen to have on me a photo of a weird little panel above the sink that the tweakers who wrecked the trailer had pulled apart. I asked him if he knew what it was because it's a circuit board and vintage trailers don't have things with circuit boards on them. He said. "It's likely the reason your pump doesn't work." it's the control panel with the switches for it and a few other things. So, armed with that info and all of your info, there should be results by the end of the week! On a side note, I won enough at poker to buy new tires AND replace the circuit panel. It was a good night! Ginger
