Hi all, Im working on my 58 Deville and the interior floor to ceiling cabinet is gone and I have to rebuild it. Id love to get it to be somewhat the way it originally was with the rounded corners, but I have no clue how to do that... any pics or links or advice you can share would be amazing!

Seems I remember on this site or the old one there was a blog or something telling how to do it. everyone put on your thinking caps and find it for him.

I recommend going with the solid curved corners. The veneer never did lay flat. It was "acceptable" but not perfect. We used a very cool antique slate board to help with the look:

I used benderboard to rebuild my dinette seat. I soaked it in water overnight first to make it more pliable. Amazingly, it worked. Then I covered it with veneer. I can't say yet how long it will hold up, but so far it looks great!

Also, a solid rounded corner makes it much easier to build the cabinet. Similar to what Shasta did. The veneer or panel does not have to make the curve. The solid wood corner is notched to accept a flat panel. Very nice effect.
