Well, today I have reached a milestone. Tallulah Belle's 125V AC system is DONE! 30 amps main breaker, 4 circuits of 20 amps each, and she now runs off shore power! She has six electric lights, four receptacles (actually six if you count the ones in the galley and dinette light bases) and plenty of juice for the flat screen at the foot of the gaucho bed, the refrigerator, the water pump, the portable AC and the coffee maker/toaster. I have had nightmares concerning building this electric system but it turned out very slick. THANK YOU to the members here who have helped with advice along the way!!!

got pics?? I would be very interested in seeing a pic inside your breaker box, as this sounds a lot like the electrical system I am building.

Wow! Six lights, six outlets, flat screen, a/c, coffee maker, toaster? This could go in the Glamping section! But seriously, congrats on getting it done, it's a nice chunk toward having the whole project done/

Sounds great...congrats on the progress. I agree the electrical was more intimidating than it should be. In such a small space it's really not bad to do.

After dinner we went back out and turned on all the interior lights, and by their light we rolled insulation over the top and installed the vapor barrier.. This camper thing is an obsession, I tell ya!

This is the new box, it is mounted in the closet next to the exterior door. The original furnace was in the space on the back side of this closet wall, but I removed it for more room. We are running all the interior lights, two receptacles(one behind the gas lamp above the dinette and one on the underside of the cabinet next to sink and a switch for the water pump) on circuit one, circuit two is the sconce lights above the dinette seats with a switch by the exit door. Circuit three is a receptacle on the exterior of the rear closet just above the rear curbside window for the flatscreen tv and AC, and circuit four is a receptacle in the space the refigerator lives in for the fridge and the microwave. We are using battery powered flush mount remote controlled ceiling lamps (3) as well as reading lights at the head of the gaucho bed and under the range hood, and puck lights in all the closets. Shore power plug is a 30amp 125volt marinco twist lock with a sealing cover. We also bought a Yamaha 2000 watt quiet generator with tri-fuel kit which will run off the propane tank s for use when boondocking. This way there is no need for the weight/expense/charging issues of a deep cycle battery/charging system and with two 30 lb propane tanks and a spare 20 pound tank in the tow vehicle, enough run time for a week or more off grid.

It doesn't appear that txoil is active these days, but does anyone know/recognize the electrical panel/box used in the picture above?
