I have framed jalousie windows in my little '67 NuWa. I replaced the seals with those from VTS and the windows leak in moderate to heavy rain. The main culprit seems to be the u-shaped seams that the glass fits into. The water builds up in the channel and then spills over on the inside. A few of the joints where the frame pieces meet also leak. The front and back windows have central stationary panes, also in frames, that seep around the bottom and edges. I used the same style of seals as were in the windows originally. If any of you old hands have any ideas, I'd really appreciate them. You can see some photos of the trailer and its windows here: BijouGlamper Thanks for any suggestions.

That is a cute, cute trailer!
Did you actually take the windows out and put them back in using putty tape behind the frames and brows?
I don't have that type of jalousie, I have the narrow panes but I leave my windows open when it's raining and still don't have any leakage. I did have a problem with water leaking over my door and I re-sealed the brow about the door and it cured it. The brow should channel the water away from your window, but if it is not sealed properly with putty tape, the water will run down into your window.

Thanks, Susie. We worked on it for around 18 months.
On the windows, I did disassemble and clean them, then put in all new seals and put them back into the frames with putty tape. There is no leaking where the frames meet the sides. Almost all the leakage comes from the places where the glass is set in the jalousie frames. There is some water coming in in a few places where the pieces of the jalousie frames meet.
