While camping in the mountains we stopped at a restaurant in Black Mountian and this is what was in the parking lot. I asked the the owner what he felt it was worth. He didn't want to sell but I pressed him and he said around $4000. Too rich for my blood. Do you think it's worth it? The interior is original but rough. It's a 52 Silver Clipper. I think the gutting begins next week.

The only one that can answer that question is you. If you want it and can afford it and don't know where you will ever find another then it is worth it. How many of these have you seen in the last twenty years? It sounds like there will soon be one less out there.

With three campers in the yard now my wife says "No!".
It's rivet construction which is not for me but it is beautiful. I love the front and rear.

Yes if was completely restored it would be the star of the campground. Tell your wife she should be glad you are chasing trailers instead of women, but be ready to duck if she swings.

What a shame. It's a beautiful trailer and a terrible to chop it up for a food cart... sacrilege. I would pass at the 4K but others wouldn't.
Thanks for sharing, NC.
