This was between my trailers skin panals and under the eyebrows above windows and doors. What is this and is it still available? If not what should I use in its place? Thanks for any input

Yes the tape. It assumed the butyl tape would be a good replacement but wanted to be sure. So I guess I should use butyl tape everywhere other then using putty tape under the J rail?

On my last Shasta I used butyl tape on every window, jrail, eyebrow, vent, etc. Sticky stuff but it works well.
There are crinkle tape alternatives. The paper backing is crinkled and the tape is not as sticky so it's easier to use. I bought some on ebay for another camper we own. It seems to work well, too.
Some people swear by one, some people swear by the other.
There used to be a white option but it seems to be off the market now.

For all intents and purposes they are the same thing. The tapes are meant for an aluminum camper.

Putty tape is gray in color and is not really sticky. Butyl is light gray or white and very sticky. What you see coming off there is putty tape. Used to seal the lap joint.

It worked for me. Really sticky, unlike the stuff I ordered from VTS. I liked this brand.
