I use a wood box I made with leather handles on the ends. While traveling it holds a selection of one and two inch thick blocks. They are tapered on the ends and can stack as needed to level one wheel and sit under the stabilizer jacks. Then the box turns upside down for the step. After a few years it's looking kind of vintage. ...or at least old.

At home while working on a camper I use an old wood pallet.
Classy!

I was using a cinder block while I was working in the trailer, but I wouldn't suggest that. We tipped that thing over so many times, one time it hit me in the leg I have a scar from it. Once the compact was finished I bought this ikea one which I have only knocked over once so far. But a wood box seems like that way to go with stability. www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60265163/

My favorite are the small wooden storage step boxes people make. You can use it for a tool box which you need anyway plus it doubles as a step.

Our trailer has a fold down metal step and we bought a stability bar on Amazon that screwed on to it and then flips down underneath. We also bought a platform step, about 18" wide by 12" deep and about 7" high, that we use in front of and partially under that because I find the height, even with the metal step, a little much for me. Kind of feels like a front stoop with the two heights. Platform legs fold up and we just put it inside the entry when we travel so it's always handy.
