It's that time of year again! Spooktacular 2015 is only six weeks away. If you haven't heard about it you can check out the details at Arizona Roundup. This years dates are October 22 thru 25th. Lots of space available. Tucson has had lots of rain so it is a sea of green this year. I drove thru Catalina State Park a couple of days ago, it is just beautiful this year.

Will pencil the dates in on the calendar. The trailer won't be near ready to use by then, but we could always just drive through and get ideas. Thought the weather was going to be nice for working on the trailer last weekend because Saturday started off with the rain and cool, but by Sunday morning ... forget it. Too steamy. That, and issues with tow wiring ... what a pain! Here's hoping for decent weather this weekend.

Wow! Spooktacular 2015 is breaking all attendance records. 51 trailers are pre-registered this year. The weather is forcast to be perfect, low 80s and no rain. Lots of space to accommodate more if you would like to attend. Early bird arrival starts this Thursday Oct. 22.

Walked around at Spooktacular yesterday morning and toured lots of great trailers and met so many nice people. Finally had some cooler weather in Tucson. My husband asked me to Google future rallys and or trailer swap meets this morning. I think we're officially addicted!

Spooktacular 2015 has ended and what a great gathering it was. 55 trailers in attendance with 106 people counted at the pot luck on Saturday. This rally was started ten years ago as a part of Arizona Roundup and has continued a slow growth thru the years. This year set a record for number of trailers, and the variety was endless. The group area was packed with 49 trailers, and the overflow was put into an adjacent area. An additional area has been reserved for next year which will increase the potential capacity to 75. Mark your calendars for next year. The Group Area has been reserved and the date set for Thursday, October 20 thru Sunday, October 24th. For pictures and information on gatherings go to the Arizona Roundup site.
