I have looking for our next project for months now. I saw this camper online two weeks ago, flew to Vermont to see it, liked it and drove back to buy it. It was in good enough condition to camp our way home through New Hampshire, Maine and all points between there and North Carolina. An excellent trip. 1400 miles without a single issue. Traveling country roads in every state we look for more vintage campers. I found only one rusted 1970 Scottie the entire time. Plenty of mid 90s campers, some 80s, but nothing older. I think the East Coast is getting cleaned out of 50s hams. We had dozens of people stop to admire it and one car pulled up next to us on the highway and held a hand written sign against the window..."for sale???"

It needs a compete going-over to be 100% again. Work was done years ago from the inside that needs redone. And then there is the question of new skin or old. Not an easy one.

It looks like it may be LATE '59, with the Jalousie windows, but it is cool as can be. They will all take a lot of scrutiny, and will all take all that one can afford to lay out for them. It looks to me like a real solid candidate for some Airflyte-love....
