Hello to everyone on the boards, I have just purchased a 1952 Roadmaster 35'. This will be a long term labor of love for the trailer is older than me and in about the same shape which is fair to medium. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info about these trailers even though they were manufactured in El Monte CA which seems to have been the Mecca of trailer makers back in the day. If anyone has any info or parts for these trailers I would greatly appreciate your input. I will be posting photos as the project starts to evolve. Cheers, Chris

Welcome Chris,
We don't see many big ones around here. Sorry, I can't help you with any information about your trailer. It will be fun to follow your progress.

Started with a Shasta, and my husband surprised me with a kewel tow vehicle. Sadly, shortly after we had a '63 and '63, I got all excited about a '66 Cardinal.. We can't keep more than one at a time, and the color of the Chevy still worked, but then we got Roadie. I guess my Waggy could tow him, just a tad nervous to do so. Indeed!
Would be nice if someone would try to track down original builders or family and interview them for posterity.
I bet some would be surprised to find that their products are still in existence and being restored.
