Can anyone help identify this trailer to the make and model and year if your really good! Very unusual and cool looking. I don't ever recall seeing one like this at all. Before we go get it I would like to do a little research on it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably early 60s from what I can see of the outside. Have you looked at the inside? You might find a clue. Sometimes there is a paper or sticker on a wall or the inside of a cabinet door with info.

Well, shoot, when you said "name this trailer," we thought you meant you wanted help naming the trailer. We thought "Muffin Top" would be appropriate.

Most unusual! Grab it, because we all want to see it evolve. Never seen anything with quite that shape. Other than the missing window, the skins aren't sagging so you won't be faced with more than a typical frame-up, and I for one wanna watch. Have fun and take pictures.

It's got some of the characteristics of a Rancho El-Rae, circa 1962-63 maybe. Just got finished reading the history of the Rancho El Rae and the daughter of the founder/owner said all El-Rae(s) had the "signature" kind of wing thing going on them at the upper back of the roof, no exceptions, so I guess it isn't an El-Rae. Remember this one? Some of the same characteristics, although the daughter did say, they all had the signature wing thing "unless a PO removed it..." austin.craigslist.org/rvs/5075868706.html

I'm wondering how that works to have a taillight on the rear cargo door. Maybe the wires are in a tube that allows movement as the door opens and shuts? Disclaimer: I know nothing about electrical but I assume wires don't stretch!

Kirkadie's got the right idea here...own it first, then research it... if it turns out to be something that you do not want to work on, you will at least have a great jump on the history for your re-sale later...although the odds are that something this unusual will stay in your family for a while.
I wonder if the huge "box" on the rear was an add-on to an original bumper...might be throwing off the perspective for identifying it. Although that big ass trunk ought to stick out in a crowd to someone.....

Although that big ass trunk ought to stick out in a crowd to someone..... Agreed. Get it now and worry about the make later. It's not a widely known company, that's for sure.
The box in the rear is sure to have been an add on. Get rid of that thing right off the bat. You don't want a bunch of weight back there anyhow.

It seems to me Soup had a camper with a similarly shaped trunk at his place at one time. I also think I have seen a similar camper within the last 12 months, and thought I had copied a pic with the name, but I simply can not find it. I'm still looking.

Yes that trunk is an eye sore. My brother found it so he is picking it up. I have no idea what the condition is but I can't wait to find out. Keep you posted.

I'd name it "Shroom."

I'm curious if the door will give any clues...windowless or what shape/type window and door handle. I even copied the rear pic and enlarged it to see if I could make out the door in the reflection off the vehicle beside it.

More clues...here is an inside picture. It is not ideal but it is a picture. Also noticed one of the pics was deleted by me accidently. So I hope this helps to identify this trailer. Thanks for helping in this quest.
