I have a set of "reflect-o-light" tail lights that came in a box of vintage trailer items I bought. They are a little worn, and there is a small chip in the edge of one that I believe I could fill in with tinted epoxy. Is there any difference between these and the reproduction wedding cake lights.. I think they are bargeman #99 style... The new ones are $16.00, but if the original reflector lights are considered "rarer" or more stylish, I will put the work into fixing them. I have photos below of both styles, from vintage trailer parts, but they no longer sell the reflect-o=lights as they are extinct. I can't seem to tell from the photos if they are the same or not. Thanks reflect-o-light Bargman #99

They are not exactly the same and require different light bases. The Reflecto bases can be made out of (of all things) stainless steel toilet flanges. Bargman bases are smaller and the screw holes in different areas. There is no "rare" about either and no one will really bother about the difference on a vintage trailer. Certainly better than modern RV square lights.
I would keep the *round* and go with whatever works for your trailer.

I think I will get the new ones then, Vikx... less rusty parts on the trailer, plus the reflect-lights I have, are made so that the licence goes underneath and a clear light shines down, I am hopping to go with the cool, chrome, center licence plate light and holder. Thanks for your help. I am finally at the point of ordering the actual working components of the trailer, tanks, fridge, electrical, lights etc. Getting excited as we finish stripping her down. My goal is next spring reveal, and I finally have the money to get there
