I finally found some time to really get down to business on my 65 Ideal. What I have discovered is that "vintage" is really just code word for rotting wood and rusty nails and screws!

I'm also thinking the over/under on trips to the hardware store in a given day is 2. Went once for lumber and back again later to replace a broken drill bit.

hmmm.. a lot of us on here would qualify as "vintage" too.. I'm the same age as my trailer. I have come to realize that my restoration of my trailer is some kind of mid life, subconscious, cathartic, attempt to restore myself! lol

I'm approximately a quarter century older than my trailer so I guess I want to be a young adult again using the above theory.
