hello Im new here and this is my first post, I just bought a 1966 marvel 22ft camper now this is my first camper I have ever owned but I do know carpentry and light electrical. now I cant find any info on this camper at all online, it only has a 8 digit vin and im looking to see if i could even find a manual to it or even a floor layout or anything that can give me info on this thing. i bought it on a whim it seems in great shape, but im thinking of making it into a project and doing it retro. but any info on this would be great. oh and i paid 650$ for it and everything works in it except the water for some reason but i can fix that i hope. was that a decent deal? the registration office retailed it at 5000 but idk how accurate that is.

to VTT. I have done a quick search and found a reference in the Tin Can Tourists wiki section identifying a company that produced Marvel campers in the 40's?? I added the question marks because there was just the name, but no info. Mar-King produced the Marlette trailer as early as the 1950's but they were mostly mobile home size, although this thread to a TCT ad for a 1955 Marlette says it is 25'. www.tincantourists.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=16238&title=1955-marlette&cat=505#.VXdyK2d0xMsThe problem researching is that one of the most common fridges in the 50's in a camper of the size you have was a Marvel (brand) fridge. If you can post a couple of photos of the outside at least curb side and street side, maybe someone will recognize your camper. $650 is a darned good buy-in price for any 1966 vintage camper with most everything working. Looking forward to seeing the photos so we can move forward on the investigation.
