Hello everyone! New to the board, renovating a 72 shasta compact and it has all windows but missing the window frame for the inside of the street side window. I am either looking for a place to repair or someone that has a good one for sale. Also, the trim around the glass of my rear window needs replaced. Cannot find the trim online. Any ideas?! Thanks and happy camping!

Have you tried http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com ?
Two good sources for camper parts:
Email address for Fletch fletch@vintagekingpins.com
Email for Chris trailertrasher1@gmail.com
Both are very nice guys.
It may help to include a photo of the trim from another window.
I hope this helps.

Hey there.. When you state "Inside Frame" are you speaking of the light gage stuff being a inside frame.. it has 4 pcs of it? The top, bottom and left and right side? I have some from a 1400, it easy to make them shorter. And welcome to the forum!

That interior light-gauge aluminum frame is the one that Pathfinder is referring to I believe. It is pretty easy to custom-fit, as it is lightweight.

Got ya... I am looking at the pictures that you posted and I am at a loss. The extruded "Frame" in which the cam cranks and all of that stuff attaches is a continuous unit. The sides bolt/screw to the top and bottom and the screen guide is there and developed when the 4 pcs are assembled. I think that your frame might be a replacement one. If you can give the me the opening size I will check my pile of windows. I have the screen type too. What is the cut opening in your trailer wall, height and width.. We've got these here.. someone here is going to have them. I like bulding them to (lol) you can shine'em up like a new penny..

I really appreciate everyone helping out! I measured the inside of both side windows and they do appear to be different. We plan on taking the window out to replace some wood. Once it is out I will post the measurements and see if anybody has a good working window. Thanks again!

Not sure where you live, in a city, rural or what, but some residents are not aware of how many medium sized residential areas have at least one company that makes aluminum windows. Check your yellow pages and see if you have someone local that may be able to help. If one is local take the window to them, act confused and say is there a chance you folks can help me with this at a reasonable cost? By the time you source, purchase and pay for shipping a local may have the window repaired for less $.

I really just want to try to find the original. I live in a very rural area so I would probably need one shipped. The opening is 30x15. The window that is in now is in bad shape. Not sure what it came out of.
