i have restored my 1962 frolic.I really didnt have to do much just some remodling on the inside due to it was stored in a barn.almost perfect condition.my issue is i had a diffrent truck last yera and put a 4 pin connector on it for towing and it worked ok .now i have a better truck .with the 7 blade connector witch i want to use .i tried using the adapter ,but that turn signals would work backwards ,and the break lights would go out when pressing the break. i cant seem to find the wiring diagram for a 1962 frolic .any help would be awesome .

Hi Shawn,
I'm guessing your previous vehicle was wired as a a "4 way". So, the colors may be mixed up with the new truck and trailer.
Look at the front trailer plug first: White is ground.
If it is to 4-Way code:
Green is Right Turn Brown is TM, Tail and side Markers Yellow is Left turn
7-way on the vehicle: White is ground. If Universal (not brand specific), the vehicle will be as follows:
NOTE the differences!
Green is TM, Tail and side Markers. Brown is Right Turn Red is Left Turn
To marry the two, you need to switch the wires.
Green from vehicle to Brown on Trailer Brown from vehicle to Green on Trailer Red (LT) from vehicle to Yellow on Trailer
I hope this helps you. Any reputable tow facility will be able to do this work.
