So, I know I saw someone else ask this question just recently, I thought. But be darned if I've searched and cannot find the thread. I have everything unhooked from my Princess stove in my '60 Shasta Airflyte, but something seems to be holding it in still. I don't want to just yank on it and ruin something, but I'm stumped as to what's still holding it in. Anyone?

Good luck. I'm not sure what's holding yours in (maybe just 55 years of inertia), but we couldn't get ours through that narrow door!

I'll need to remove my front wall at some point, so getting it out of the camper isn't as big an issue as just getting it out of its space! haha I'm 5'0 and 115 lbs., so maybe my best yank wasn't enough. :/

Just pretend it's a teenager who's sleeping in until 1 pm on a Saturday.

check to see if there are a couple of screws from either underneath or the side that you can't see. Seems like I had to take out two screws that were screwed through the left wall after taking out the drawers to find them.

Lift the stove top. There should be 4 screws at the top flange, going sideways into the counter top. Sometimes there are screws in the sides of the oven flange and/or at the bottom. Most of the time, it's the screws under the top. If the stove doesn't "wiggle", then it isn't ready to pull. If you feel resistance, it's still anchored.
I'm assuming you released the gas line at the stove manifold. (also under the top)...

Likewise for the back as the gas has been disconnected. I'll do some contortioning and see if I can see anything underneath?

Please post a photo. It sounds like your stove does not belong to the trailer, or has slipped out of place...

left side bottom: left side top: right side bottom: right side top: I realize it's difficult to see with my lighting (or lack thereof), but I can see top to bottom, front to back on both sides and the back. This appears to be the original Princess stove it came with (the front panel is off right now for refurbishing).

Check in the rear of the inside of the oven as well. Some have 3 bolts...

Glad the mystery is solved, thanks to Ten! I agree that the "side wall" could be sturdier in this configuration. The photo shows a spacer and bolt holding the top of the side wall more securely than it was originally.

Whew, finally got it out. There were indeed three screws in the bottom of the oven holding it in place; two in the front, one in the back, not quite centered. Now to test it, and if it works change the insulation, and shine that little princess up.
