Does any one know if any of these are available for sale? Where would I go to find this? I would love to find an LED light that has a gas lamp look. I'm rebuilding a 1968 Shasta 1500 and want to use 12 volt where possible. Any help is appreciate, I love this forum. This place and Canned Ham Trailer has been much help. I Still have along way to go but the walls ceiling are back up and I'm building the cabinets.

For a couple of short months, Vintage Trailer Supply (vintagetrailersupply.com) had these for sale. They seem to have been sold out for a time now. My guess is that they will become available again, but I haven't seen them anyplace else.

You can also make your original into a 12 volt light. Small sockets, etc are available at the hardware store.
Also, I apologize for bouncing this thread around like a yo yo... Figured it should be in our 12 volt section, not "gas" lamps.

So Vintage Trailer Supply is where I seen these . My original light is rusted quite a bit. I don't know that it would be worth using it as a 12 volt light. I've been looking to ebay to get a gas one and convert it however most nice lights are quite expensive. I figured that if I going to spend that much I might as well get one already done and the light in the picture is real nice so it would be worth it.
I will write to vintage trailer supply and find out if they plan on getting more in. I've notice it's not on their web site anymore.
Thanks for the info. Real

I've got a reply from Vintage Trailer Supply. They have put a hold on selling these lamps for quality control issues. They hope to be able to sell them again later this year. I certainly hope they resolve the qualities issues until then I will see if I can find on that looks like than and wire it for 12 volt.

I have converted several gas lights to 12volt .I use the existing copper tubing as the ground and push a wire through the center of the tubing and use that as the positive. I use appliance wiring it is a little stiffer. I remove the valve assembly and install a 12 volt socket from the parts store. by doing it this way you dont have to remove any paneling or have any exposed wires. the tee for most gas lights I have done is behind the stove and I just solder the negative wire to the tubing there. I put two sockets in this one and added a pull on and off switch from home depot
