Uh most likely. I work in software. What's the point?
That I'm afraid of whats under that skin and since I know that I can now fix it?

I've got a 13 y/o want-to-be programer. And a geeky electronics engineer hubby. Just go with the flow. You're asking all the right questions about your trailer.

HAHA!! Okay thanks for making me laugh. I did notice one thing on the camper, there's a big dent in the roof above the bunk bed. I'm betting that the cross member there is busted so I'll need to take at least the back and back upper skin off to replace it.

Uh most likely. I work in software. What's the point? You're killing me Ben. I thought you might be a geek, all my geek friends are Star Wars fans, hence the Yoda quote. Simply put: you must know what you fear before you can banish it. Just so there is no misunderstanding, I use the term "geek" in the most positive sense.

Oh I know. I'm just an odd type of geek. Not really a big sci-fi junkie other than post apocalyptic movies but I am a published author and poet. Does that count??

I'm down for a good post apocalyptic film. If you're a hard core geek, it only counts if you published a technical manual.

I've done technical writing for software. The novel was Post Apocalyptic zombies, mixed with Knights Templar.

But are you a Dr. Who fan? Not I. But I do know what a Tardis is, unfortunately. Yes, my son has suggested painting a camper like a Tardis.

I'm betting that the cross member there is busted so I'll need to take at least the back and back upper skin off to replace it. Could be busted or it might just be warped. Sometimes the roofs sink from the weight of snow or for some unknown reason. A dent could also mean that the seams possibly leak, too. But one fish at a time here. That top piece of skin on the back that goes above the window is part of the roof. The little panels on each side of the window will come out. Roof seams do NOT come apart. Although they may be seamed, the roof comes off in one big piece. It won't hurt to take a peak under there once you get the bottom part done. There are a couple of ways to do that. The real experts here will tell you the best way is to take the roof completely off, roll it up and store it while working on the roof. But that's not always possible. Some people lift there roofs and do the front section, put it back and do the back section. You have to be really careful not to tear the metal.
