We were worried we would not be able to tow our Astrodome with our Durango. Doesn't seem to be an issue at all. Any thoughts?

He means we were sure it would pinch, but there seems to be plenty of space. Tons, really. We are so surprised. Now to just get tires...

I am almost surprised. You can picture these all you want on flat level ground, but as soon as there is a swail or a lean or a sharp high bump, it changes the whole dynamics of how the vehicles clear one another. I would definitely do some really slow controlled testing before hitting the highway with it.
I would point to Schweetcruiser's Astrodome and its first trip home with the Pathfinder. schweetcruisers.blogspot.com )
Granted, whole different vehicle. But I personally would not let it go to chance that something on a fully restored camper is not going to pinch my SUV-styled high-backed tow vehicle when I least expect it.
I guess you might call that a bit of paranoia.
