Hi all, I'm fairly new to doing restore work, I saw this on the interior of another Shasta, and I was wondering about it. First what is it and what is it used for. Also, does anyone have the dimensions of the cut out? I think it's pretty cool looking Thanks!

That is just ventilation slots on the wall to the closet in Shastas. PM me and I can send you a paper template.

People also use them to vent their hidden air conditioner.

They are in the inside closet wall. They are very small. I don't think they would be adequate for venting an a/c. They allow fresh air to the closet to prevent it from getting musty.

Sorry, Susie.. I should have been more specific about the air conditioner thing... I meant to say.. that sort of cut out is used in the new Shasta for the air conditioner vent..

This doesn't look very efficient, not enough air flow?
