vintagenorthstarcamper.blogspot.com/This is the link to the blog I started about our 1969 North Star Travel Trailer. I just cannot find any information out there about this trailer. So far I have counted ours, one other 1969 that shows up on Pinterest, a 1969 named Cayenne that was in a newspaper article on the East Coast, a 1970 Oberlin North Star on Pinterest, a 1970 from Sisters on the Fly and that is it. So a total of five North Stars is all I can find on the entire internet. And all of them are just pictures, aside from the newspaper article, so no information about where they came from, if they existed beyond 1969-1970 or anything. Talk about having a unique piece of history. I'll update this thread with pictures and repair/rebuild information as we move forward. Wednesday is the day our restorer is coming to give us an estimate and make plans to take our camper for her rot repair.

Here is a thread to a Spotty Sportster built in Oberlin, looked at your thread but could not figure out what pic was of your camper. Does it look like this little Spotty? Note: I know it is from the Scotty Rebuilds page but they feature "other models" like this Spotty. Maybe the North Star was also made by this company too. www.nationalserroscotty.org/rebuilds/hughR/index.htmlHere is a thread to a 1967 Oberlin. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.474204809287793.101029.128986567142954&type=3Finally, when I do a search...vintage Oberlin camper trailer...2 pinterest sites come up that have North Star in their info lines, but I am not signed up for pinterest so as I begin to scroll down I am frozen out...might try that search and check the pins on those 2 sites... Stick a fork in me and declare me "DONE"!! Good Luck!

Oh my gosh!! That facebook page!!! It didn't even occur to me to look for another one on facebook! I've been using the google!! That is exactly our little camper! I'm SO EXCITED! I've seen the two on pinterest, but they are just outside shots that I can see because I'm not signed up for pinterest, either. You are AWESOME!! Thank you for those links!!

The Spotty looks IDENTICAL on the inside, too. Down to the green stove and backsplash, bunk, cabinets and layout. The only difference is it doesn't have the fin and the wheel wells are different. Man you have good sluthing skills! THANK YOU so much!
