Is anyone from the board headed to the Vintage Trailer Show in Palm Springs this weekend? I'm just wondering if I should be on the lookout for fellow board members.

I just got home from Palm Springs, and the Vintage Trailer Modernism show. It was a great show today. Lots of very nice trailer's, and they had a good representation of all sizes, styles, types, including buses and early RV motor homes. They had something for everyone.
I believe they were overwhelmed by the very large spectator Saturday turn out, as they ran out of voting ballots for the spectators early in the day. Overall, it was very well organized, and shows the growing interest in our vintage trailer hobby.
If you are in the Southern California area, it runs through Sunday.

Sorry, I'm not a photo guy.
But, Flyte Camp, and their "Flipping RV's" TV crew were filming today for this season's shows.

Rod, this is an high end "invite only" show, and I'm not on "their A List", LOL.
One thing that I learned about myself doing cars, Hot Rods, motorcycles, boats, vintage bicycles, drag racing, and now vintage trailers, is that I enjoy the journey, and not much of the destination. For me, the joy is about figuring out how to make it work, or what you would call THE BUILD. After it's done, my mind is onto the next challenge, not sitting around a show, drinking Beer, and retelling the same story over, and over. I guess, it's why I built a few "high end" Tear Drops, and never looked back, moved on to Canned Hams, and lately into the Riveted Skin type trailers. It's all about finding a new challenge.
