I have questions about running a ground wire from a breaker box or distribution panel (I am considering the PD 4060) to the chassis. What gauge should the wire be? What is the standard method to attach it to the chassis?

I used a 12 ga. as that was the heaviest line I had in my system.. I have 30 amp system. Some on here have used a 10 ga and I say more power to ya. Main thing is do not use something to indifferent to the largest gauge that you have in your system. I would not use a 14 gauge wire to ground a 30 amp / 12 ga system. Below is some snap shots of what I had going on in my upgrade. I just went down thru the floor and cleaned up an exisiting connection. The whole bit was on "71 lofyte upgrade" on here some where. Hope it helps..

Thanks for the reply and the photo, Pathfinder. Nothing smaller than 12 ga will be the way I go, as I'm doing a 30 amp system. If I can make 10 work, I'll do that.
