One of my recent trailer rebuilds, a 13' Red/White 1956 Cal Craft was featured on the front page of the Orange County Register on Christmas Day, with Santa Claus camping at the beach fire pit in Huntington Beach after a long nights work. Not sure how they got permission to have a trailer on the highly restricted beach, but I guess when Rudolph is involved, anything is possible!
The trailer belongs to one of The Sister's on the Fly members, Maggie Banowetz.
Not often, we get front page coverage for our little travel trailer's.

Sure like to see it. Got a link. I received a PDF file with the photo of the front page tonight.
I'm going to forward the file to a friend of mine, and see if they can post it to this thread.

John Doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy feeling to see your work used in that manor. Congrats on a job well done.

JP, Glad I'm not the only one whose abilities to post pics are inches beyond our abilities to post our pics. Someday, maybe, one of our gracious hosts will PM us and help get our pics visible. Isn't there a rule that we've been around too long to be this inept?

Thanks to my favorite I.T. person.......Vikx!
It was weird that it covered the entire front page on Christmas Day, but was placed sideways, "up and down".
It's a 1956 Cal Craft that I rebuilt the rotted frame work, and re-skinned, repainted. The interior was previously done (from the inside) by someone that called himself a restorer,(he's not on this site).
It's now a nice "safe and solid" trailer, and sees many trips with Sister's on the Fly rally's.

Nice looking trailer John. I'm surprised it didn't get all painted up like the SOTF like to do.
