We've never been to a rally but we're thinking about going to the one in Lodi for the open house on Saturday.

I heard that Lodi one is really good. I was planning on going last year...but it was too much for us, we had a 2 month old baby at the time. This year, we planned on selling our trailer and hunting for a new one, so we didn't make a reservation, now it's booked.
I went to the Pismo rally in 2014, I had such a good time, but we did not have a trailer then. They seriously are booked the first day reservations are allowed. Then they have a waiting list over a hundred campers and counting two weeks after the reservation window opened.
I looked into lone pine too, it looks very community oriented and fun, they have a cool agenda like Pismo does.
Hopefully next year, when our new camper is painted and we have an awning on it, we can do a rally. Its great motivation and sooooooo much fun, it's like joining a cult.
