['63 Airflyte] There are two black wires in the cupboard above the sink, they go into the ceiling. No evidence that the roof has ever been lifted. Are these original? I haven't checked them for voltage. This piece was in a box of stuff that came with the trailer. Looks like it clips over something, but I don't know what. Any ideas? Thanks!

The wires run to a ceiling light over the bunk and were powered by a small battery in the upper cabinet. I usually incorporate them into a new 12 volt system.
Bottom pix appears to be part of the bunk brackets. (the top) Hard to tell with just the one photo.

I've got one more picture of the clip. I'll compare it to the bunk parts when I get home.

Wiring goes to this one light only: When I pulled mine home it had a 6-volt battery still connected, the type with the screw posts on top, that were used for lanterns. I hooked a lawn mower battery to the wires and the light worked. I believe the original idea was to have that one light that was completely independent from all the other systems.

I took a good look at the clip and a bunk bracket and sure thing, that's it! Thanks again Vikx. I've got six bunk brackets, two poles, and only one clip.
And thanks Ten for more info on the mystery wires.

I small chunk of wood tastefully screwed in place will hold the bunk poles, at least at the back.... you're welcome.
