Does anyone know what a 1974 Shasta Compact door handle looks like, this is whats on it now? Also the tin slides are missing in the screen door. .

You have one of the later Compacts, the last of the breed. Is there any sign of screw holes or other marks to make you think that is not the original? It certainly doesn't look like the early models. When I saw your first pic, I thought it must have been replaced but that sure does look like it came on it.

I'll look when I get home and take it apart. Yeah I can tell it was the last of the breed because I can't hardly find anything about it, not many picks or data.

I'm thinking that may be the original door knob. They probably took what was left from 73 and used it and finished it up with the next years parts. When they changed to the second generation in 64, there were still some 64's sold with the old body style.
