Ok, so the second gens have a different edgeboard/curbing than the first. So far, I can't tell what it looks like because the part I've uncovered is rotted away. Anybody got pics? I'm sure I'll uncover some intact eventually.

SusieQ Soup posted some nice pictures showing how he uses a much taller board around the bottom. I also do mine the same way. In some cases it allows you to cut the rot off of the bottom of the vertical boards instead of replacing them and sometimes not.

I'm searching, haven't found Soup's thread, yet. I did find this one with some discussion: vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/1117/egde-boards?page=1I did 3/4" wide strips of 1/4" plywood on my '62 Shasta, like Shasta did it. It was really easy to do and my favorite part of the build. But I know I've seen pics of the 2nd Gen somewhere here. Just curious. I'll find out soon enough. If I'm doing strips and Gorilla glue, I want them cut before I take it all apart. This one has to go back together quickly.
