I'm wondering how to remove this trim? Planning on replacing the Formica and reusing the trim so don't want to bend it taking it out. Not sure if the Formica is held in place inside a groove on the trim or what. Don't really want to take skin and everything off just to gain access to get at the trim. Thought I'd ask first before I started prying it up! I'm sure many others have done this and hope there is an easy solution.

The back should slide up and out? The trim may be attached to the counter underneath. Not sure, hard to tell from the pix...

They put the trim down and then apply glue to the back of the masonite board and slip it down into the trim and allow to dry. So you need to pull the masonite board towards you and pull it up and out of the trim. Same with the counter top which is also masonite. You may ruin the masonite taking it out if it was heavily glued.
